How it works

STEP-3

The inside antenna broadcasts the amplified signal to the area that needs reception

It did boosts my bars!!

Working from home forced me to “boost” my mobile reception, and this gizmo took me from 1 bar to 3 bars. I can probably get to 4 bars with some additional tweaking after I get to a hardware store. It is critical to follow the installation instructions regarding antenna spacing as well as directions for both the indoor and outdoor antennas. It is worth spending a few hours to experiment with placement of the antennas.

Boosts my indoor phone signal!

I live in the country and have very little service. The cell phone signal booster has been able to boost my cell signal and provide me with 4 bars where before I only had 1 to 2 bars. I use my cell phone for a hot spot for my computer and it has been awesome!!!

Good product that actually works when installed properly.

I used this product to replace an old wireless booster after it met its end due to a lightning strike. After installing this product, I have found it to work better than my old unit being it not only boosts my AT&T FirstNet phone but also Verizon phones in the same house hold (At the same time). I live in an area of rural Georgia where towers are only 4 miles away but due to the topography, you have little to no signal at ground level. After installing the outside antenna on our TV antenna that is climbable (Aprox. 30’), I hooked up the unit and instantly received full signal on my device, works good on the LTE & 4G bands

Cool idea to help low signal

This is a cool odds for a boost in cell power. You install the device on the roof towards a cell tower. Then run it inside to the little satellite device. Think if like how a wifi router works sort of.Check with your cell carrier to make sure this is ok and will work with their technology.Seems nice overall

This thing works! Don't waste your money on cheaper solutions, or more expensive ones.

I bought this as hurricane prep, because the last major hurricane we had roll through southwest Florida took out our cable internet for 4 months. Well Ian just rolled through, and here we go again! Rural living and there is barely cell service outside (like you need to go up on the roof and hold the phone above your head with your fingertips to send a text message). Normally we have gigabit cable and use WiFi calling and all is good. But when the cable goes down, especially for 4 months, it's carrier pigeons and smoke signals.I've purchased other boosters for half the cost of this one in the past, and ended up returning all. Often they only support one or two frequencies only, inside range is restricted to right next to the indoor antenna or the same room, and outdoor antenna aiming is a guessing game requiring a compass, Cellmapper app, and a steady hand. This device solves all those issues and I wish I had bought it earlier. The free app allows you to easily adjust the antenna and see the results in real time, even when up on a ladder away from the indoor unit, so there's no guessing. Perfect alignment in minutes. As you can see, my signal levels are barely in the acceptable minimum threshold for this unit to work, yet work it does, and very consistently and reliably. And compared to more expensive units, it automatically amplifies all the carriers simultaneously, instead of locking to a single one. And one of the biggest issues with repeater units like this, signal loopback, is essentially a non issue with this unit. It gives you a clear indicator light to warn of loopback until you get the placement right, and even indicates various degrees. It's the only unit I've found that will allow the average non-pro installer to get the most out of it and tune everything perfectly, and do so in minutes.Installation was an absolute breeze and all hardware and cables needed were in the box. Customer service is excellent, with instant answers from a live rep (even followup phone calls and a direct contact number, no automated prompts). You won't need it because it's so easy, but if you do, they are there and they'll contact you to make sure everything is good before you get a chance to contact them. For now I just threw this thing together after the hurricane, but I will be doing a proper permanent install soon. But ultimately, it's performance that matters. I went from no data (calls only) on Verizon to consistently over 50mbps 5G on barely any signal outside, and that's INSIDE my 2700 Sq ft home without even the secondary indoor antenna hooked up (just the main unit). And I went from sometimes (when I stand near a window) 1mbps T-Mobile 4g in the house to 15+ mbps 5G consistently. Both connections are now strong enough to make and hold a phone call from anywhere in the house, and can be used for data and hotspot in case of cable outage. And it improves the battery life on all my phones while they are home, since they don't have to work as hard to constantly hunt for a signal. And best of all, unlike WiFi calling or those cellspots that the carriers send you, it doesn't depend on home broadband to work, and it transitions active phone calls from tower to repeater and vice versa flawlessly and seamlessly without dropping the call, which is important if you live in an area where you have cell signal outside but not in and don't want to lose an active call every time you step into the house. If you live in the middle of nowhere, your city friends will be impressed that you have flawless 5G coverage inside your house and wonder how it's possible. Now keep in mind, you do have to have some sort of coverage outside for this thing to work. But at least in my case, I was able to mitigate that with altitude and essentially a clear line of site to the closest cell tower, even if it is out of range when at ground level. Only complaint I'd have is lack of band 71 600mhz. It seems no repeaters on the market support this. If it did, I could probably get away with T Mobile home internet as my primary and save a whole bunch of money while still enjoying blazing fast speeds.Get a good solid pole to mount it on (pole mount for outdoor antenna included), walk around with the outdoor antenna on the cable first while watching the app, and find that ideal spot. Mount it, and forget about it. It just works.

My 3rd Hi-boost Cell booster purchase

This is the 3rd Hi-boost cell booster I have purchased in the last year. I have been satisfied with the product and have never had any issues. It is very important that you spend time on the roof or the ladder dialing in the perfect position for your outside antenna and make sure you get the outside antenna as far away from the booster as much as possible. Same thing for the other inside antenna, make sure to get it as far away from the booster in the opposite direction for best results. My only regret is that I wish I would have purchased another 10K unit, rather than this 4K unit. I do think that little bit of extra power makes all the difference. If I purchase another one, I will stick with the 10K series, especially in areas where there is only 2 bars of signal without a booster in the best position. Hiboost sent me 3 or 4 emails making sure I was satisfied before Bruce Noah again contacted me with Hiboost support to ensure I was satisfied. They really will do whatever it takes to make you happy. I think many people do not have the results they were hoping because they havent installed it correctly or used the signal supervisor app to dial in the signal. I recommend you connect the booster to wifi so if you are on the roof and the wifi doesn't pickup, you can see the signal on your 4G signal since the booster has an internet connection thru the wifi.

Great product so far

Fairly straightforward installation. My service went from 1 or 2 bars on AT&T to 4 and 5 bars anywhere in the house. My wife’s Version went from 0 or 1 bars to 2 or 3 bars. That’s probably because there are no Verizon towers nearby. Tech support is also great.

It works well

The product offered features that met my needs. Adequate square foot coverage and an extra antennae. However I was confused by the two different types of cable connectors. I called tech support, left a message and never received a call back. Disappointing. The unit is working and improved my cell phone coverage on three levels of our home.
